
The family of the late Robin Cherry deeply appreciate the many expressions of love and support we have received following our recent bereavement. Our heartfelt thanks to friends, neighbours and extended family circle for their kindness in visiting our home, sending cards and letters and posting messages of sympathy and attending the funeral. Thanks to Reverend Mark Rodgers for his visits and prayerful support and for conducting the funeral service. Thanks to the staff of Ward B3, Antrim Hospital and Ward 5C, R.V.H and to all who helped in any way. Thanks to James Henry for the efficient and caring manner in conducting the funeral and to Delightful Bites for catering. We hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Cherry Robert John (Robin) MBE, FRAgS. 26th April 2025, peacefully at hospital, after a very short illness. Much loved husband of Adeline, loving father of Adrian and Karen, father in law of Amanda, devoted grandfather of Georgina, Victoria and Catherine a loving brother and uncle.
After a private committal, a service of thanksgiving for the life of Robin will be held in Clough Presbyterian Church, 35 Springmount Road, Clough, Ballymena, BT42 9QQ. on Wednesday 30th April at 1.30 pm. Family and friends welcome to call at the family home 40 Carnlea Road Ballymena BT43 6TS on Monday and Tuesday from 12noon to 8 pm.
