The family of the late Rae wish to thank all who sympathised with them on their bereavement.  To those who sent cards, sent messages, telephoned, called at the home and gave donations towards Dementia N.I., we express our sincere gratitude.

 Thanks to Dr David Johnston and all the Maine Medical Practice for their care, also thanks to all at Simpson’s Pharmacy and a special word of gratitude to the Community District Nursing Team, Cullybackey who so attentively card for Rae.  To Lindsey we would like to say a special and personal thank you.

For his pastoral visits, support and conducting the funeral , may we thank Rev David Clements and to James Henry Funeral Services for the compassionate and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.  We are also grateful to those who helped with catering on the day of the funeral.

May we say how we appreciated the prayers and support of many friends over the years of Rae’s illness here at home.

We as a family trust that this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our very sincere thanks.

Russell Rachel (Rae) 22nd July 2025, passed away peacefully, at her home, Markstown Crescent Cullybackey, after a long illness.  Loving wife of Billy, dear mother of Linda and Wilma, sister of Maybeth and Pearl, a very dear sister-in-law, dear aunt of Stephen and his wife Deborah and aunt of Colin. 

House and funeral strictly private. No flowers please, donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, may be sent to James Henry Funeral Services, 100 Broughshane Street, Ballymena BT43 6EE for Dementia N.I.  

Will lovingly be remembered by her husband, daughters, family circle and friends.
