We celebrate the life of a devoted husband, father and Granda, who left this world exactly as he lived in it—with humour, love, and a knack for making even the most ordinary day feel extraordinary.
He is fondly remembered by his loving wife Angela, his daughter Alice and her husband Alan and his son Evan and wife Chloe along with his grandchildren—Arthur, Sophia and Freddie.
He was the sort of man who believed that humour was a gift meant to be shared, and he shared it generously.
We honour him not with sadness, but with the laughter he taught us to embrace.
After a private family burial, a service of thanksgiving for the life of Evan will be held in West Presbyterian Church Ballymena on Tuesday 9th December 2025 at 2pm.
Everyone is welcome to join us at his family home, 30 Russelstown Road, Gracehill from 2pm – 8pm on Sunday 7th December and Monday 8th December.
Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, may be sent to James Henry Funeral Services 100 Broughshane Street Ballymena BT43 6EE for Leukaemia and Lymphoma N.I.
May his memory continue to brighten our days, just as he always did.
